Slowly Going Crazy
It's been over a week since I've heard from the rescue group about the dog we are trying to adopt. The nice lady sent me LOTS of emails before that and had approved our application. She also said she'd keep us updated on his recovery.
I'm worried! I've sent her two emails this week and she has not responded. The last one was two days ago. Why the lack of communication? All sorts of weird things are going through my head - maybe her computer crashed and she doesn't know how to contact us. Maybe they interpreted something on our application strangely and decided they don't like us after all. Maybe the dog ran away and they don't want to tell us. Maybe he died. Maybe I'm paranoid and crazy.
I'm going to go send another email.

Cant you just go over there? I think they like it when you spend more and more time with the pet at the shelter before adopting anyway.
Give me their number I'll call them and harrass them for you. That should do the trick. If that one doesn't pan out look at Victoria Adoptables and look at Mr. Jiggs. I went and met him today and fell in love. I wanted to take him home but Quin was an ass as usual. I even offered to trade Quin for Jiggs. I have just decided that Quin is my logic since I have a hard time with that one. Mac tried but he was not here to stop me. But if he had met Jiggs he would have taken him home too. I think he should be yours if Dexter does not pan out. :)
Hey Jessie, this particular rescue group does not have a building. All their animals are in the homes of volunteer foster families (lots of small rescue groups operate like this), and this particular dog is in a town two hours from my house. I don't know exactly where he is, and I don't have any contact info except for email addresses. UGH.
Megan. I have no number. And if I did, do you REALLY think it would be a good idea for me to give it to you? Really?
